Look [Startup]

One of the best things about working with early-stage startups is getting into the trenches and helping young entrepreneurs with their first ventures.

That was the case with Look, an app that was launched in 2016 that makes it easy to capture, share, and experience high definition 3D photos and videos in virtual reality.

Go For Vertical was introduced to the Look team as they were getting straight out of college at the University of Arizona, and they had already laid out the business plan for going to market with their unique vision for “social VR”, but had the challenge still of delivering their technology.

G4V got into the trenches with their young lead engineer, and used Vertical to lay out the architecture not just for their mobile app, but for the hardware for their new VR recording device, the firmware running on it, the datastore for the VR recordings, and the backend for their new platform, or five unique platforms altogether.

With this blueprint in place, Look was able to successfully develop their platform and go to market with their complete technology stack, eventually selling their VR camera on Amazon..
